NORWALK James B. Hardway, 86, of Norwalk, died Saturday morning at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 27, 1921 in Cleveland to the late William B. and Charlotte L. (Rote) Hardway.
He was a Navy veteran, having served during World War II as an Ensign, Naval Aviation. He was the owner/operator of Erie Supply, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Saas) Hardway of Norwalk; sons, Jay B. (Sandra) Hardway of Chardon and Jac B. Hardway of Strongsville; step-sons, Jeffrey T. and Justin C. Savage, both of Norwalk; a step-daughter, Jacqueline M. Peci of Granville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and eight step-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be private at Milan Cemetery, Milan.
Arrangements are by the Groff Funeral Home, 1 South Main St., Milan.
