NEW HAVEN - Jack L. Ally, 54, of New Haven, died Thursday morning at his home.
He was born Jan. 8, 1953 to George and Virginia (Huffman) Ally.
He was a truck driver for R and L Trucking and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Willard American Legion and Willard Elks and enjoyed skiing and golfing.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Smith) Ally, whom he married Feb. 4, 1996; mother, Virginia Ally of Willard; daughter, Sarah (Jeff) Rayfield of Shallotte, N.C; stepdaughter, Kimberly (Brian) Elfrink of Galloway; stepson, Graig Gowitzka of Howard; a granddaughter; a brother, Jeff L. Ally of Attica; and a sister, Joyce (Jimmie) Bailey of Shiloh; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, George L. Ally.
Calling hours took place Sunday at Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ken Gifford officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
