AMHERST - Joseph Borgia IV, 54, of Amherst, died Monday surrounded by his beloved family.
Born in Altoona, Pa., he had lived in Amherst since 2001. He was am Army veteran. He had been employed at Jack Matia Chevrolet for three years and earned the Used Car Salesman of the Year award for 2006. He was employed at Nick Abraham Auto Mall for 14 years.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Heginbotham) Borgia; daughters, Christina Nicole Borgia of Lakewood, and Maria Elena Ramirez of Columbus; sons, Joseph Borgia VI, Joseph David Ramirez and Anthony Colbourne Ramirez of Amherst; brothers, Jim Borgia of Findlay, Joseph Borgia V of Naples, Fla., Rossi of Fort Meyers, Fla., John of Naples, Fla. and Rick Stoneberg of Maryland; sisters, Gina Borgia of Toledo, Vickie Kling of Duncansville, Pa., and Charlene Linville of Trenton, Mo.; an uncle, John Borgia of Norwalk; a grandson and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Borgia III, and his mother, Leora.
He donated his body to the Boonshoft School of Medicine/Wright State University for cancer research.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at St. Andrews Episcopal Church 300 Third St., Elyria. Services will immediately follow.
