MARBLEHEAD - Henry H. Hohl, of Marblehead, died Friday at the Providence Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.
He retired as superintendent of Cellulo Co. in Sandusky. During his retirement he enjoyed being a ham radio operator, wood carving, fishing and gardening. He lived most of his life in the Berlin Heights area.
He is survived by his sister, Helen McGee of Sandusky; daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and Dan Capodice of Marblehead, JeanMarie and Gary Thompson of Norwalk; daughter-in-law, Sharon Hohl of Livonia, Mich.; eight grandchildren and their spouses, two stepgranddaughters and their spouses; and 14 great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren, a niece and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his his wife, Ilene (Young); sons, Jan Hohl, Henry "Kip" Hohl Jr. and Hohl Charles; parents, John Henry and Mabel Hohl; a sister, Ada Mae (Mamie) Wargo; and a great-granddaughter.
There will be no visitation. Services will be private.
Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
