NORWALK Frank M. Fry, 88, of Norwalk, died early Wednesday morning in his home.
He was born March 30, 1918 in Perky to the late Frank and Me (Fairchild) Fry and had lived in the Clarksfield and Norwalk areas most of his life.
He graduated from Perry High School in 1936. He was a veteran of the Army, serving during World War II. He was a member of the Norwalk First United Methodist Church where he was an usher and a member of the United Methodist Men. He was a member of the Huron Lodge No. 37 Odd Fellows and Gibson Masonic Lodge No. 301 in Wakeman. He was a finish carpenter and former employee of K & H Construction Co., Hulme Construction Company. He enjoyed woodworking, crafts, reading, traveling, and was a Cleveland Indians Fan.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathryn N. (Sanders) Fry of Norwalk; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Pam Fry of Norwalk; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Jean and Jerry Connors of Marietta, Ga., Beverly and Robert White of Norwalk, Barbara and Dennis Wetzel of Milan, Sandra and John Kluding of Norwalk, and Carol and Dwight Alexander of Norwalk; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Walker Funeral Home 98, W. Main St., Norwalk, where Masonic services will be conducted by Gibson Lodge No. 301. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Norwalk First United Methodist Church, 60 W. Main St., Norwalk. The Rev. Edna Stahl will officiate. Burial will be in Steuben Cemetery.
