MILAN Etta M. Schnee, 73, of Milan, died Wednesday morning in her home.
She was born March 12, 1933 in Osborne, Ky. to the late Joseph Wade and Minnie (Hall) Spears and came to this area in 1950 from Kentucky.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Wittness and was a former employee of Fanny Farmer Candy Company in Norwalk, Philco Inc. of Sandusky, Barr Rubber Co. in Sandusky, and General Industries in Elyria. She enjoyed collecting elephant figurines, her dogs, housekeeping, and had a never ending love for her family.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dale F. Schnee of Milan; sons and daughters-in-law, Roger D. and Tammy Schnee of Milan, Wayne M. and Jeanine Schnee of Bellevue and Joseph Wade and Kim Schnee of Berlin Heights; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald Spears of Prestonburg, Ky. and Robert and Virgie Spears of Galveston, Ky., and sisters and brothers-in-law, Ollie and Floyd Slaughterbeck of Sandusky, Dorothy and Sam Casebolt of Virgie, Ky. and Kathy and Fred Gravely of Galveston, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Schnee; a brother, G.B. Spears; and sisters, Edna, her twin, in infancy, Mary Adkins and Maggy Farmer.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. Saturday in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk.
