NORWALK - Curtis Lee Case, 62, of Norwalk, died Friday evening in his home.
He was born Jan. 16, 1946 in Floyd County, Ky. He lived in this area for more than 40 years.
He was employed by Norwalk Concrete for 27 years, a former member of the Norwalk Moose and Norwalk Eagles. He started working when he was 17 in the coal mines of Kentucky. He loved fishing, coon hunting and he cared for horses until the time he became sick. He went camping but was not a happy camper.
He is survived by his wife, Sue (Jenkins) of Norwalk; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Mary Case of Norwalk; daughters and son-in law, Patricia and Clayton Lindsey of Norwalk and Teresa Case of Norwalk; a step-son, Ronald Blankenship of Berlin Heights; step-daughters, Cindy and Jerry Wright of Norwalk and Darlene Blankenship; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Irvine of Norwalk.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie, Ransom, Andy, and Earl Case; sisters, Emogene Irvine and Viney Case; and a grandson.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will take place in Milan Cemetery.
