MONROEVILLE - Clifford E. "Tug" Wilhelm, 82, of Monroeville, died Saturday in the Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.
He was born March 9, 1925 in Monroeville, where he was a life long resident.
He was a farmer and a life member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville. He married Margaret Elmlinger on Aug. 16, 1947.
He is survived by his children; Mary (Ken) Seliga of South Russell, Rose Seliga of Stow, Thomas (Mary) Wilhelm of Monroeville, Jeanne (James) Schubert of North Ridgeville, Catherine (James) Limbird of Attica, Joseph (Sheryl) Wilhelm of Monroeville, Ronald (Jennifer) Wilhelm of Lubbick, Texas; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Elmlinger) Wilhelm in 2005; a grandson, James Clifford Limbird in 1990; parents, Otto and Rachel (Ott) Wilhelm; brothers, Oscar, Richard, Lambert, Russell and James Wilhelm; and a sister, Sister Mary Lambert, S.N.D.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe St., Monroeville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel St., Monroeville. The Rev. Kenneth J. Lill will officiate.
Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroeville.
