FINDLAY - Clay F. Nelson, 80, of Findlay and formerly of Norwalk, died Wednesday at Fox Run Manor.

He was born on May 15, 1927 in Carpenter, Ohio, to the late Ervil and Lorinda (Bails) Nelson.

He married Elizabeth "Betty" Heston on Jan. 28, 1950 and she survives. He was retired from Ford Motor Company in Sandusky. He was one of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Norwalk. He loved fishing, but most of all spending time with his family.

Also surviving are sons, Lloyd (Mary Helen) of Clyde, Daryl (May) Nelson of San Diego, Calif.; Timothy Nelson of Columbus, Donald (Desiree) of Norwalk and Thomas (Kathy) of Norwalk; daughters, Sandra (Bill) Edwards of Findlay, Pamela (Fernando) Florez of Cleveland, Cheryl (Bryan) Coward of Vidor, Texas, and Lori Kinsey of Norwalk; a brother, Ralph (Mary); 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren..

Also preceding him in death were a son, Daniel; brothers, Ray, Howard, Clyde, Bill, Charles and Walter; sisters, Jessie Woolever, Pauline Stephenson, Lena Bailey, Madeline Moore and Wanda Nelson.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 37 Cline Street, Norwalk, with Bob Richardson officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in either Findlay or Norwalk.
