STUART, Fla. Burnette "Robb" Holbrook, 65, died May 9 in Stuart, Fla.

He was born May 14, 1941 in Kentucky to the late John B. and Rhonda (Collins) Holbrook and worked at Midwest Industries for 12 years in Willard, Ohio until moving to Ft. Pierce in 1977.

He worked at Wal-Mart and at the Holiday Inn Oceanside for many years in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Port St. Lucie and also played the guitar for the church.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mae Holbrook of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Dora Holbrook of Crestline, Ohio, Dee Holbrook of Greenwich, Ohio and Darrel and Linda Holbrook of Salyersville, Ky.; daughters, Tilitha Tackett of Shiloh, Ohio and Nancy Gibson of Willard, Ohio; stepsons, George Barnett of Akron, Ohio and Jerry Barnett of Uniontown, Ohio; a brother, John (Cam) Holbrook of Mansfield, Ohio; and a sister and brother-in-law, Gertrude and Jack Jones of Willard, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Fosteen Lawrence.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard, Ohio, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven, Ohio.
