NORWALK - Bonita M. Derby, 61, of Norwalk, died Saturday at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born April 18, 1946, in South Moor, England to the late Frederick and Margaret Jane "Peggie" (Bell) Harley.
She attended Trinity Anglican Lutheran Church in Milan. She was a former employee of BoxBoard Packaging in Norwalk and had also taught at EHOVE Adult Education Center. She enjoyed working as her husband's para-legal, singing in the Monroeville Community Choir, sewing, cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Derby of Norwalk; a daughter and son-in-law, Mimi and Michael Ugljesa of Lambertville, Mich.; a son, Jim LoPresti of Monroeville; and 5 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Anglican Lutheran Church, 1608 Ohio 113 E., Milan.
