NORWALK - Barbara (Brown) Daniels, 93, of Norwalk, died July 20 of natural causes at the Gaymont Nursing Home. She had been a resident there for the past four years.
She was born Oct. 29, 1913 in Greenwich to the late Samuel Osborn Brown and Anna Miller Brown.
She was a resident of Lorain from 1944 until moving to Norwalk in the mid 1980s. She was a former employee of the National Tube Plant and Whalen Drug Store in Lorain. She was a member of the Lorain Bunko Club. She loved cooking, painting and most any kind of craft. She was a very talented painter and an excellent cook. She was very active in all of the activities at Gaymont having her picture in the Reflector a number of times participating in them.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Henrichsen of Williamsburg, Va.; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Carol Daniels of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Lee of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Daniels; a granddaughter, Judy Daniels; and a sister, Gertrude Lucille Lane.
She donated her body to science. There will be no services.
