Alice Ousley, 87, of Willard, died Thursday in Willard Health Care.
She was born on May 4, 1920 in Huesysville, Ky., to the late Kendall and Dovie (Shephard) Crager. She had been a Willard resident for the past 44 years and was employed with the former Pioneer Rubber Company, retiring in 1982.
She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Bertha and Delmer Bailey, of Shiloh; Donna J. and Donald Heilman, of Sycamore, Ohio; Brenda K. and James Fox, of Willard; Judy L. and Keith Tschanen, of Sycamore, Ohio; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Lisa Ousley, of Ashland; one step-son and daughter-in-law, Sherman Ray and Brenda Ousley, of Norwalk; two step-daughters and son-in-law, Wanda and Dennis Meyers, of Willard; Louvern Ousley, of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; one sister and one brother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Ousley, in 1997; two daughters, Betty S. Spencer and Freda J. Ousley; and eight brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Ron Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
