NORWALK - Aaron James Robbins, 35, of Norwalk, died Wednesday at Fisher-Titus Medical Center after a sudden illness.
He was born Aug. 11, 1971, in Norwalk and lived all of his life in the New London and Norwalk areas.
He was an over the road truck driver for more than 10 years. He loved cooking and woodworking.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Roth; a son, Tommy Roth, both of Huron County; mother and stepfather, Meredith and Richard Doney of Norwalk; father and stepmother, Carl and Marjorie Robbins of Lady Lake, Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Craig and Tracy Robbins of North Fairfield and Daniel and Sarah Robbins of Norwalk; a sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Steve Martin of Jacksonville, Fla.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Revs. Doug Lang and Steve Payne will officiate. Burial will follow in Grove Street Cemetery.
