WILLARD — Paul Edward Kessler, 74, a long time resident of Willard, died Sunday. He was born Feb. 12, 1932 in Norwalk to the late Ronald F. and Anna K. (Hay) Kessler.

He was employed by R.R. Donnelley for 28 years as a production planner. He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and a member of the 55 Plus Club at the church.

He served in the Army as a corporal during the Korean War. He also was a member of the Willard American Legion.

He was survived by his wife, Margaret (Risner) Kessler, whom he married July 10, 1954; a son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Cheryl Kessler of Willard; daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Gerard Gladieux of Oregon, Ohio, Kristen and Richard Reinhart of North Ridgeville, and Virginia and Lee Dedrick of Middleburg Heights; eight grandchildren; and two sisters.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Secor Funeral Home in Willard. A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
