NORWALK — Charles Frederick Lohf Jr., 77, of Norwalk, died Thursday at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.
He was born May 7, 1929 in Bedford. He served in the Navy during the Korean War.
He was a plumber at Shepp Plumbing and Heating for more than 40 years in the Norwalk area, and was a member of the Norwalk Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
His faithfulness and regularity in attending Christian meetings at the Kingdom Hall and sharing his faith with others served as an inspiration to his fellow believers.
He enjoyed physical activities and was an avid walker.
He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeannette and Arlin Scott of Chapel Hill, N.C. and Alice and Edsel Shepp of Norwalk; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles F. Lohf Sr. and Paula (Kniesel) Lohf.
There will be no visitation. Private burial will be held at West Salem.
