A Norwalk woman facing two felonies goes to trial Nov. 13.

Former Bellevue resident Heather M. Lopez, 35, now of 48 Old State Road, pleaded "not guilty" to grand theft and tampering with records, each of which are punishable by six to 18 months behind bars. The fourth-degree felonies are in connection with an incident between about March 1, 2013 through Dec. 2.

Norwalk Police Capt. Eric Hipp arrested Lopez on a secret indictment about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. She was released to Huron County Sheriff's Deputy Shannon Lyons and transported to the Huron County Jail. A grand jury issues a secret indictment when authorities suspect the person might flee the area.

If Lopez posts a $5,000 bond with a 10-percent provision, she is prohibited from being on the property of a business in the 300 block of Milan Avenue.
