A trooper with the state Highway Patrol found a small bag of suspected marijuana in the center console of a vehicle driven by a Willard woman.

Elizabeth A. Jones, 29, of 202 Rae Court, Apt. 34, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license. The charges are in connection with a traffic stop at 7:28 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Long Street in Willard.

Trooper Thomas Halko warned Jones about speeding. The trooper sent the suspected drugs to the patrol's lab in Columbus for testing.
