A North Carolina man locked himself in a car on a hot day as a cautionary tale to parents.
Terry Williams posted a video on YouTube on June 20 of himself sitting in a car when the outside temperature was between 86 and 90 degrees.
The windows were rolled up and the car was not running.
"I want to know how it feels to be left in the car and sitting in the back seat, strapped into a car seat with the windows up and the doors probably locked," he said. Williams challenged other people to feel what it's like in a closed up car.
The video has about 1.2 million views. Williams' story was featured on Good Morning America this morning.
Williams posted the video two days after 22-month-old Cooper Harris was found dead in his father's car in Georgia. The father, Justin Ross Harris, is charged with murder.
