A motorist seen driving over a road sign in Norwalk received his second drunken-driving charge in six years early Saturday.
The Norwalk Police Department reported seeing Jake Dellisanti, whose age and address weren't provided, drive a black Chevrolet Silverado over a road sign while backing out of the parking of Comfort Keepers. The suspected incident happened at 1:47 a.m.
Dellisanti was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired, refusing a breath test with a prior driving-under-the influence conviction and improper backing. Officer Jared Ferris, in his report, said the suspect refused a breath test.
Dellisanti was released later to a sober person.
