State lawmakers dealing with tanning salons, gender pay and data centers

State Rep. Terry Boose (R-Norwalk Township) provided the Reflector with details about three bills currently making their way through the state legislative process.

The first is House Bill 131, which, if adopted, would require parental consent for teens using tanning-bed facilities.

Two other pieces of legislation, House Bill 120 and 136, are in committee.

House Bill 120 involves gender-pay disparity, while House Bill 136 would award grants to establish high-speed data centers while providing a tax credit for electric utilities that supply them.
