Nothing better than a 'Star View'

Scott Seitz2 • Jun 13, 2014 at 6:07 PM

It's full-steam ahead for the Star View drive-in movie theater.

"This year, one of the things we're really trying to do is have first-run movies," said co-owner Steve Witter.

So far, the drive-in has been able to play "Godzilla," "Blended" and "Maleficent" all on the Fridays which they opened.

"How to Train Your Dragon 2" opened nationwide today, and that is the current movie at the Star View. "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is the second movie.

"It's a little more costly to do that and it does require us to keep the movies for at least two weeks," Witter said.

A feature story about the drive-in was published recently in the Norwalk Reflector.
