A Sandusky driver reportedly had a blood-alcohol content level that tested more than twice the legal limit in connection with a Norwalk traffic stop.
Benjamin K. Lochotzki, 26, of Sandusky, was the subject of a traffic stop stemming from a marked lanes violation at the intersection of Milan Avenue and Simpson Street. Norwalk Police Sgt. Jim Montana made the stop at 2:40 a.m. Sunday.
Lochotzki was charged with driving under the influence. Montana reported the suspect's BAC tested at .178 percent; the legal limit for drivers in Ohio is .08 percent.
After being cited and given his mandatory court date, Lochotzki was released to a sober person.
