A male suspect faces two misdemeanors in connection with walking into a South Garden Street resident's home without being invited Saturday night.
The Norwalk Police Department was notified at 10:35 p.m. Officers said they found the suspect, Philip C. Lorcher, 45, of Norwalk, in front of the Century 21 building on East Main Street.
Lorcher was charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct by intoxication and released later to his mother. Police said the suspect wasn't charged with "a more serious offense" at the request of the victim.
This is the fourth time in recent months that Norwalk police have handled a case in which a stranger — usually intoxicated — has been caught inside someone’s home.
