Former Norwalk resident Amber N. Reynolds is accused of selling heroin in this area.

Reynolds, 28, now of Clarksville, Tenn., pleaded innocent this week in Huron County Common Pleas Court to one count of trafficking in heroin in connection with a March 28 incident.

She has a Dec. 19 trial scheduled and must post a $5,000 bond before being released from jail.

Reynolds was sentenced to 15 months in prison in October 2009 for a local conviction of attempted trafficking in heroin.

Court records indicate she was granted early release five months later and was ordered to spend four to six months in a community-based corrections facility, a form of prison which focuses on substance abuse treatment and education. Reynolds was fined $250 and ordered to pay $500 in restitution to the Norwalk Police Department as part of her three years of probation.
