Huron County sheriff's detectives have completed an investigation involving a stolen motorcycle out of Morrow County.

"We received information that the stolen motorcycle was located at a business in Willard on Tiffin Street," Detective Sgt. Josh Querin said Tuesday.

"I want to be clear that this business had no idea this motorcycle was stolen," he added.

The motorcycle, valued at more than $10,000, was reported stolen in May 2012 by Morrow County officers.

"The motorcycle is a 2000 Harley-Davidson Road King," Querin said

"In the process of this investigation, we've forwarded the reports to the Willard law director and Huron County prosecutor's office for the consideration of charges," Querin said.

"Contact was made with detectives in Morrow County and they were able to link the motorcycle to the suspect," he said.

The suspect's name hasn't been released because no charges have been filed.

Querin said the suspect could face a felony charge due to the motorcycle's value being more than $1,000.

"The motorcycle is now out at our impound lot," he said. "We made contact with the owner who was obviously extremely grateful we had located it."
