So much for enjoying "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" in the theater by himself.

Police used two tips to arrest Mount Blanchard resident Cody J. Devor, 28, in connection with a recently robbery at Rite Aid Pharmacy near Toledo. The arrest happened without incident just before 1 p.m. Friday at Norwalk Premiere 8 Theatre, where he was the only person in one of the theaters.

"It looked like he was sleeping. We just snuck up on him," said Norwalk Police Detective Sgt. Jim Fulton, who made the arrest with Detective Sgt. Seth Fry and Capt. Mike Conney.

"He (Devor) had been in the military. He was in Iraq," Fulton said.

Devor was arrested on a Findlay Police Department warrant and charged with a probation violation. The original conviction was theft, a fifth-degree felony.

"That's what he's being extradited on," Fulton said.

After police interviewed Devor, he was transported to the Huron County Jail. Records indicate authorities in Hancock and Wood counties have holders on him.

Before the arrest, Fulton said two anonymous callers gave officers Devor's first name, described his clothing and identified his vehicle as a red Chevrolet pickup truck with a white cap. The detective said one tipster said Devor had "bragged about robbing this pharmacy" in Rossford and the person knew Devor was in the movie theater.

"(Officer) Kevin Schaffer went down there and saw the truck," Fulton said. "So we raced down there."

The Rossford Rite Aid was robbed Wednesday. The next day, the Rossford Police Department posted several pictures of the robber identified as Devor on its Facebook page and requested anybody with information call Sgt. Todd Kitzler, who investigated the incident.

Devor is accused of fleeing the Rite Aid with narcotics -- later identified as oxycodone, oxymorphone and methadone -- "after threatening employees," police said in the Facebook post.

"At the time of the robbery, this suspect was wearing a leather jacket, gloves and mirrored sunglasses," police said.

When Norwalk officers arrested Devor, it appeared the man had attempted to partially cut his beard by apparently using scissors, Fulton said.

Police had the suspect's truck towed to the station.

Fulton said Kitzler and his chief came to the sally port as officers used a search warrant and found the hat plus some oxycodone and methadone in the vehicle.

"There was a bottle of each," said Fulton, who pointed out one of the bottles was in the exact location a tipster had given police.

Devor is in jail, awaiting extradition to Wood County, where Rossford is located.

His hearing is today in Norwalk Municipal Court.
