The trial of a man accused of rape and gross sexual imposition against multiple victims younger than 13 and more than three dozen child pornography counts is scheduled to begin Tuesday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

Law enforcement officials allege George E. Jackson Jr., 51, of Dayton, victimized a young boy in Centerville between 2006 and 2009 and a young girl in Sidney and Dayton between September 2011 and January 2012.

Court documents make reference to Jackson frequenting skating rinks in Ohio and Michigan and having three phones full of pornographic images plus photos of the open mouths of juvenile females. Documents also show one of the alleged sexual acts may have been captured by a video camera attached to the headboard of Jackson’s bed.

Jackson’s charges include: Two counts of rape of children younger than 13; 11 counts of gross sexual imposition, three counts of importuning; three counts of illegal use of a minor in a nudity oriented material or performance; three counts of possession of criminal tools; 17 counts of pandering sex oriented material involving a minor; eight counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor; three counts of pandering sex oriented material involving a minor (creating); and six counts of pandering sex oriented material involving a minor (create, reproduce or publish).

The first of three indictments of Jackson allege that Jackson had sexual contact with a young boy several times in his former residence in Centerville. Jackson was re-indicted a second time, adding the allegations against the young girl in Sidney and Dayton and a third time, adding in the child pornography charges after a search warrant allegedly turned up numerous images on Jackson’s electronic equipment.

Jackson was arrested Jan. 4, 2012 and is being held in the Montgomery County Jail. Court records show he and his wife filed for divorce a week after he was arrested.
