A Norwalk woman accused of identity theft was found to be in violation of her probation in another court this week.

Mollie R. Warner, 20, of 27 Woodlawn Ave., was charged with underage consumption in connection with an incident at the intersection of Milan Avenue and St. Mary's Street. Norwalk police reported receiving a call about a female subject "stumbling" down the sidewalk and almost walked in front of a vehicle. Officers received the call at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said as a result of the incident, Warner reportedly violated her Norwalk Municipal Court probation.

She is on two years of probation for an underage consumption conviction. Norwalk police investigated the Dec. 17 incident.

Warner had been out on a $5,000 bond when she was arraigned in a separate case Monday in Huron County Common Pleas Court.

She entered a "not guilty" plea to identity theft in connection with a Nov. 29 incident. Judge Jim Conway has prohibited Warner from having any contact with the female victim, the defendant's relative.

Warner's trial is April 11. If convicted, she faces six to 12 months behind bars and a maximum fine of $2,500.

After the incident Wednesday, police transported Warner to the Huron County Jail.
