Two people were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a crash on Mason Road at noon Friday.
Erie County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Jared Oliver said a Ford Explorer went left of center in the 300 block of Mason Road. The truck struck a Chevy Cavalier head on, went airborne and landed in a ravine off the road.
The operator of the Chevy Cavalier was extricated from the vehicle by the Milan Township Fire Department.
The driver of the Ford Explorer sustained minor injuries, while the other driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries, Oliver said. Both were taken to Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
The names of the drivers were not available at press time.
Traffic charges are pending.
