Citations are pending in the ongoing investigation of a two-vehicle crash that injured a Norwalk driver Sunday morning in Sandusky County.

Steve Stocker, 50, of Norwalk, was driving a 2012 Dodge Ram west on U.S. 20 while Lucas Ryan was driving a 2007 Volvo S60 south on Ohio 51.

Ryan, 28, of Islip, N.Y., is accused of failing to stop at the stop sign at U.S. 20, causing a collision in which his Volvo was hit in the driver's side by Stocker's Dodge, said troopers with the state Highway Patrol's Fremont post. Ryan's vehicle went off the south side of U.S. 20, hit a traffic sign and stopped in a field.

Stocker's truck spun and stopped in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 20, troopers said.

A LifeFlight helicopter flew Ryan to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. Troopers said he was listed in critical condition.

Sandusky County EMS transported Stocker to Fremont Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition, troopers said.

The Woodville Township Fire Department, Sandusky County Sheriff's Office, Woodville Police Department and Sandusky County EMS assisted troopers at the scene. Also assisting at the scene were Madison's and Willey's towing companies.
