Motorists injured in crashes

Several motorists were injured over the past couple of days following crashes.
Morgan M. Patton, 18, of 183 Twin Bay Trail, Willard, sustained serious injuries on Thursday morning after she fell asleep while traveling north on Niver Road, went of its right side and struck a ditch. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top. Patton was taken to Willard Mercy Hospital, which does not give out patient information.
Two motorists sustained minor injuries in a pair of other crashes.
Arlin G. McCray, 69, of 12 W. Main St., North Fairfield, was taken to Fisher-Titus Medical Center following a crash Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Ohio 20 and Ohio 303. McCray was driving south on Butler Road, approaching the intersection of Ohio 20 and Ohio 303. McCray failed to come to a complete stop, drove past the stop sign and into the path of Samantha M. Larson, 21, of 56 Freun St. Larson struck McCray. McCray was not listed on Wednesday as a patient at Fisher-Titus.
Patience M. Link, 33, of 104 N. Main St., New London, was not transported following an accident early Tuesday. Link was traveling north on Ohio 60, went off the right side of the road, went back across the left side and struck a ditch and tree.
