A Norwalk drug dealer has pleaded guilty to a felony charge.

Richard Leroux, 48, of 107 E. Main St., pleaded guilty Friday in Huron County Common Pleas Court to trafficking in marijuana in the vicinity of a school, a fourth-degree felony.

In exchange, the state dismissed a charge of possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony. Huron County Assistant Prosecutor Daivia Kasper said as part of the plea, Leroux will also forfeit about $1,900.

Leroux was charged with trafficking in marijuana, in connection with selling marijuana to a confidential informant. He will be sentenced Nov. 7.
