Two men accused of separate crimes pleaded innocent to felonies this week in Huron County Common Pleas Court.

Dustin P. Palyshka, 30, of Green Springs, was issued a March 1 trial date for one count of possession of cocaine. That charge is in connection with an Oct. 14 traffic stop on Republic Street, where Norwalk police found the drug in Palyshka's pocket and in the glove box of the vehicle in which he was a passenger.

In an unrelated case, Omar Hernandez, 21, of 42 Brook Court, Apt. A, Plymouth, is scheduled to stand trial Jan. 8 on one count of breaking and entering. Hernandez is accused of breaking into Country Counter Market in North Fairfield in early September and taking 19 rolls of pennies. He was arrested after the owner called 9-1-1 to report he was detaining a break-in suspect.
