Patrol seeks public assistance in shooting incident on Interstate 77

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two male suspects that were driving a black SUV northbound on Interstate 77, near milepost 111, in Jackson Township in Stark County at 4 a.m. today. One of the occupants of the black SUV fired a single round into a passing vehicle’s driver’s side door.
The victim was driving in the far right lane of I-77 when a black full-size General Motors SUV approached his vehicle driving in the center lane. The passenger of the black SUV pointed a handgun out of the front passenger window and fired one shot at the victim's driver's side door.
The victim hit his brakes and the suspect’s black SUV continued northbound on I-77. The suspect passenger/shooter is described as a white male who was wearing a light colored baseball cap. The gun was described as being "shiny" possibly a silver, chrome or nickel plated handgun.
