UPDATE - Teen denies inappropriately touching girl at library

A 15-year-old rural Norwalk boy was in juvenile court Friday to answer to the accusation of inappropriately rubbing a 7-year-old girl at Norwalk Public Library.
The suspected incident happened about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at thelibrary. The girl's parents reported the library incident, and the suspect was still in the building when Norwalk Police Officer Dave Daniels and reserve officer Claire Evans arrived.The boy was arrested that day and transported to the Seneca County Juvenile Detention Center.
On Friday, he "was released from detention and placed in the custody of his parents on the condition of house arrest," said Chris Mushett, juvenile court administrator. "He is to be under 24-hour adult supervision and is to have no contact with anyone under the age of 14 and no communication or association with the victim."
