(UPDATED with link to pictures.) Relatives and friends of the Class of 2011 filled the Western Reserve gymnasium Sunday to give the largest graduating class in the history of the school a big sendoff.

The motto of the class of 110 seniors was, “Do not follow where the path leads; rather, go where there is no path and leave a trail,” and it was echoed in the talk of Valedictorian Molly Canfield.
She said each person has his or her own style in high school, but graduation is an opportunity to make changes, because “The world is waiting for you.” The old labels need no longer apply, and, “The only label that doesn’t change is we are graduates of Western Reserve High School.”
