National Weather Service issues hazardous weather outlook for Huron County

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Huron County.
This hazardous weather outlook, issued at 2:39 p.m. today, also includes Lake Erie, North Central Ohio, Northeast Ohio, Northwest Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania.
Severe thunderstorms are likely late this afternoon into tonight. The storm prediction center has elevated the outlook to a moderate risk. Damaging wind and hail are likely and the rain could be heavy within the stronger thunderstorms.
There will be an increased risk for flooding through Friday as repeated heavy rains may occur with a front that will stall across the area.
