A male suspect armed with a handgun fled an area pharmacy with an undetermined amount of narcotics.

A CVS Pharmacy employee called the Bellevue Police Department about the incident at 7:21 p.m. Tuesday. An initial police report lists two witnesses: A 16-year-old Bellevue girl and a Euclid Avenue woman.

"The suspect did use a handgun during the robbery. The suspect demanded narcotics and did get away with an undetermined amount of narcotics," Detective Capt. Matt Johnson said.

The suspect is described as a white male subject in his mid- to late 20s with blonde hair. He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs between 175 and 200 pounds.

"(He) was wearing an Adidas hat with a marijuana leaf on it and a gray shirt. The suspect fled in a tan or gold SUV, possibly a Chevy Blazer," said Johnson, who couldn't be reached for further comment.

Anyone with information about the suspect or vehicle is encouraged to call the Bellevue Police Department at (419) 483-4444.
