Eagles begin defense of their state wrestling title

He's got a state title, a state runner-up finish and two district crowns to his name. But 11 years in as head wrestling coach at Monroeville High School and Scott Bauer still can't claim a Firelands Conference title.
It's frustrating, to say the least, for Bauer.
"I wouldn't trade that state championship banner in the gym for a league title ... I wouldn't trade it for 11," Bauer said with a laugh.
The Eagles placed third in Saturday's FC meet in Monroeville behind Ashland Crestview and Western Reserve.
