Willard woman's bond revoked after failed drug test

Willard resident Delores Ceja submitted to a drug test before her arraignment on a possession of heroin charge Monday. A few minutes later, her bond was revoked.

Huron County Assistant Prosecutor Daivia Kasper said Ceja should be held in custody without bond because she tested positive for opiates and Oxycontin.

Huron County Assistant Public Defender David Longo said revoking his client's bond was inappropriate because Ceja had made her other court appearances. He also noted that any defendant being charged with drug possession could have a "dirty test" unless the person was seeking treatment.

Ceja's next hearing is Friday.
