Norwalk man pleads guilty to drug possession, safecracking charges

A Norwalk man could face up to 2 1/2 years in prison after he pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated possession of hydrocodone and safecracking.

Carlos L. Contreras, 28, of 82 N. Foster St., stole a lock box from his parents' home Nov. 19 which contained the pills, defense attorney David Longo said. The defendant also stole some guns, but his father didn't notice they were missing until that day, he added.
