SANDUSKY The North Central Ohio Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors received the 2006-07 Jack E. Bobo Award of Excellence, presented by the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

The award recognizes associations in the NAIFA federation that excel in areas critical to their success and growth over a one-year period. Those areas are members benefits, advocacy, membership and governance.

"It's and honor to be recognized by the National Association for the work we've done to be successful this year," said Albert Waitman, association president. "Our goal is to provide insurance agents and financial advisors who are members with the tools they need to better serve their clients. With a strong local association, the people of Erie, Ottawa, Huron, Seneca and Sandusky Counties benefit. Not only do our members follow a strict ethical code, they have access to resources that help them stay well informed in this competitive industry. The people of our community should do business with a North Central Ohio Association Member."

The officers of the NCOAIFA are: Albert Waitman, president, Sandusky; Roger Whittaker, vice-president, Clyde; Dennis M. Printy, secretary. Sandusky; and Tamara K. Schaefer, treasurer, Sandusky.

The North Central Ohio Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors was founded in 1949. It is one of approximately 800 local and state associations that comprise the NAIFA.
