DUI convictions

NORWALK The following people recently were convicted of drunken driving in Norwalk Municipal Court:

Kevin C. Mount, 31, 6 Cedar St., Norwalk. Violation date: Nov. 21, 2007. Conviction date: Feb. 29. Sentence: $1000 fine, $70 costs, two-year license suspension and 180 days in jail; defendant shall have 30 days of jail to commence April 4; defendant shall have 150 days suspended and be placed on probation for a period of two years; defendant shall abide by laws and have no convictions for two years; defendant shall provide proof completion of 30 days in-patient alcohol treatment by March 31; defendant shall provide proof of six months alcohol counseling by Sept. 30.

Justin M. Kuhn, 24, 2607 Miller Road, Willard. Violation date: Nov. 22, 2007. Conviction date: Feb. 29. Sentence: $600 fine, $62 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of alcohol intervention program (AIP); defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from Feb. 29 to May 22.

Gary D. Lyons, 41, 4065 Egypt Road, Willard. Violation date: Dec. 23, 2007. Conviction date: Feb. 28. Sentence: $600 fine, $60 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from Feb. 28 to June 23.

Ronald Ruff, 49, 2560 Niver Road, Willard. Violation date: Jan. 22. Conviction date: March 4. Sentence: $600 fine, $125 costs, six-month license suspension and 90 days in jail; defendant shall have ten days credited for time served; defendant shall have 80 days jail suspended; defendant shall be placed on probation for a period of two years; defendant shall abide by laws and have no convictions for two years; defendant shall provide proof of restitution within 120 days.

J. Jesus Sabala, 36, 103 Jefferson St., Lot 11, Norwalk. Violation date: Feb. 9. Conviction date: March 3. Sentence: $800 fine, $76 costs, one-year license suspension and 60 days in jail; defendant shall have 40 days jail suspended; defendant shall be placed on probation for two years; defendant shall abide by laws and have no convictions for two years; defendant shall show proof of six months alcohol counseling by Sept. 30.

Charles R. Clark, 28, Canton. Violation date: Feb. 8. Conviction date: March 4. Sentence: $600 fine, $85 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from March 4 to Aug. 8.

Kayla B. Osborn, 18, 273 E. Main St., Norwalk. Violation date: Feb. 17. Conviction date: March 4. Sentence: $600 fine, $70 costs, six-month license suspension and six days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from March 4 to Aug. 17 valid only with "restricted" plates.

Alvin F. Stevenson, Jr., 32, 61 Norwood Ave., Apt. A, Norwalk. Violation date: Feb. 17. Conviction date: March 5. Sentence: $600 fine, $60 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from March 5 to Aug. 17.

Monte C. Hibbard, 37, 12404 Arlington Road, Berlin Heights. Violation date: Feb. 16. Conviction date: March 4. Sentence: $600 fine, $70 costs, six-month license suspension and eight days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from March 4 to Aug. 16.

Christopher Lovelace, 22, 25 S. Ridge St., Monroeville. Violation date: Feb. 22. Conviction date: March 4. Sentence: $600 fine, $79 costs, six-month license suspension and 60 days in jail; defendant shall have three days credited for time served; defendant shall have 57 days jail suspended; defendant shall be placed on probation for period of two years; defendant shall abide by laws and have no convictions for two years; defendant shall provide proof of restitution within 90 days; defendant shall provide proof of completion of six months anger management and alcohol counseling by Oct. 14.
