n A therapist at Fisher-Titus Medical Center determined a Milan Avenue boy wasn’t at risk to harm himself Wednesday and was released to his parents.
n A Newport, Tenn. police detective informed police Wednesday of a tractor-trailer stolen Sept. 1 from the city and found later at a Milan Avenue business. The local employees noticed the trailer had been in the parking lot for an extended period of time and called the Newport business. Police responded and found several pallets of merchandise worth about $75,000 inside the trailer — including toothpaste, baby formula, cleaning supplies and makeup — belonging to a drug store chain.
n Dispatched the Wakeman Fire District to an East U.S. 20, Wakeman, mobile home on fire Wednesday. A deputy and the Florence and Camden township fire departments also responded.
n Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about a domestic incident Wednesday on Prospect Road, New London.
