Mary K. Bevier, 39, of 5E Chestnut St., was charged with failure to control Friday after she lost control while going 45 mph, an unsafe speed for the road conditions. Bevier went off the right side of Ohio 547 and hit a utility pole. She reported minor injuries, but wasn't transported.
Sharon J. Ring, 18, of 135 N. Main St., New London, was charged with failure to control Friday after she went off the left side of Prospect Road and hit a sign and fence.
