82nd Airborne returns home

The 82nd Airborne Division has returned to Fort Bragg, N.C. after serving two years in Iraq and Afghanistan. This Division has been America's No. 1 fighting unit since World War II.

There are more than 100 chapters across American and 30,000 active members.

Chapters hold regular meetings, picnics, dinner-dances, mini-reunions, a national convention, march in local parades and a special school program about World War II for history classes.

Chapters feature veterans from the 11th, 13th, 17th, 82nd, 101st, and today's Special Forces. There are more than 80,000 veterans eligible in the U.S.

All members are welcome to attend the following events:

All American Week, May 19 to 25, Ft. Bragg, N.C.

26th Airborne Days, June 5 t0 8, Corpus Christi, Texas.

62nd National Convention, Aug. 13 to 16, St. Louis.

2nd All Indiana Days, Aug. 21 to 24, Indianapolis.

46th All Ohio Days, Oct. 10 to 12, Columbus.
