MILAN A Gibsonburg woman arrested on suspicion of drunk driving allegedly assaulted a village police officer after being taken into custody.
Peggy Moll, 46, was pulled over on U.S. 250 at 1:03 a.m. Friday after allegedly speeding. A Milan police report indicates Moll had the "overwhelming odor of an alcoholic beverage" and failed multiple roadside sobriety tests. During her arrest, Moll reportedly become confrontational, accusing the arresting officer of having "small penis syndrome" and being a "big bad cop."
Moll continued to be confrontational once at the station and was taken into a holding area, police said. There, police said, Moll began to resist and twice attempted to bite an officer's arm, dug her fingernails into both his arms and kicked him in the leg. The report indicates Moll accused the officer of using unnecessary force to subdue her.
Moll has been charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, resisting arrest and felony assault on a police officer.
