What are your kids really doing?

Norwalk Reflector Staff • Oct 28, 2015 at 3:53 PM

A portion of the 2006-2007 Project Leadership Class has chosen to take on the task of discovering what kids are really doing in respect to drugs, sex and the Internet and provide education to parents on how to deal with these difficult subjects.

Do you want to know what seventh through 12th graders are actually doing in regards to drugs, sex and the Internet? Do you want to know how their answers differ from the views of parents?

You are invited to attend one of our three educational presentations to learn more about and what to do as parents when faced with these challenging issues.

Featured presenters will include Karen Russell, Firelands Counseling and Recovery Services; Dave Pigman, Norwalk Police Department; Theresa Graybille and Angie Smith from the Huron County Health Department.

Other local agencies will also be available to answer questions and hand out literature on these important topics.

The presentations will be held Monday at South Central Elementary Cafeteria, April 30 at Willard High School Performing Arts Center and May 7 at Norwalk High School LGI Center.

All three educational presentations will begin at 6 p.m. and are geared for an adult audience.
