WR students: Please don't fire our librarian

Norwalk Reflector Staff • Oct 29, 2015 at 12:44 PM

We are fifth graders at Western Reserve Elementary school and we are very upset that Mrs. Link, our school librarian, is being laid off. Mrs. Link always encourages us to do our best in reading. She helps us find good books to read.

She also taught us how to use CAT junior to find good books to read and then to take AR tests on. When kids reach a certain amount of AR points for reading books, she gives us prizes. When we reach 100 points, she gives us a certificate and a trophy.

Mrs. Link helps with our projects we are doing in class. Mrs. Link is a very nice teacher to the kids of Western Reserve Schools. She is so nice that she takes up her own lunch time to help us find good books to read. Mrs. Link also stops when she is doing something else to answer our questions. We can always ask her to help us find books.

Please don't let Mrs. Link leave Western Reserve Elementary School because she is a great librarian.
